Books For Africa is the largest shipper of donated textbooks to the African continent. Books for Africa has shipped over 15 million primary, secondary, post-secondary, and community library books to 27 countries since 1988. BFA has received the highest ratings from the Minnesota Charities Review Council.

Our mission is to promote and support the principles of human rights, democracy, peace building, development, and humanitarian assistance in the Republic of Cameroon. Our vision is of a Cameroon in which every person enjoys all the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international conventions and national laws; a Cameroon in which democratic values are part of its culture; a Cameroon in which peace reigns and every person enjoys equal opportunity; a Cameroon in which individuals and communities are empowered to their full potentials; a Cameroon in which the poor, distressed, and underprivileged are taken care of.
